Is Financing Wind North America 2020 rescheduled?

Yes – Financing Wind North America 2020 is being rescheduled to take place on September 2nd – 4th 2020.  Due to unprecedented global events, the postponement of our two day conference is now entirely outside of our control.  However, our conference networking and insight programme means that in September the event will be bigger and better than ever.

 

Why is the event date being moved?

The conference is being moved to September 2nd – 4th 2020 due to unprecedented global circumstances.  Governor Charlie Baker declared a State of Emergency in Massachusetts’s on March 10th 2020 and travel bans and restrictions for state and international travel continue to escalate and are not expected to lift in the short term.  The declaration and the travel bans follow numerous presumptive positive regional Boston-based cases of Covid-19 that in the state of Massachusetts’s in late February.

As the outbreak of COVID-19 expands, the U.S. Center for Disease Control (CDC) expects more cases to be detected across the United States.

 

Is there a chance the event will be cancelled?

No, the conference is being postponed but not cancelled.  Based on current information, we believe that postponing the event until September 2020 will allow our world health officials time to put proper precautions in place to prevent the further spread of COVID-19.

Our Senior Management Team will continue to monitor reports from the U.S. Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization, as well as continuing to work with Boston health officials, to take every precaution necessary to ensure a safe and successful event.

 

I have bought a delegate pass it possible to get a refund?

All delegate passes will be transferred to September 2nd – 4th 2020 and will remain valid throughout this period.

I am unable to make Financing Wind North America 2020 on September 2nd – 4th 2020 – can one of my associates use my delegate pass in my place?

Yes, we have will operate a delegate pass transfer policy free of charge, for all currently booked delegates, up until 21 days before the conference.  To request a transfer of your delegate pass to a colleague, please contact events@awordaboutwind.com.

Yes! We welcome your registration and encourage you to get in touch with us direct if you have any questions or are looking for further delegate registration advice.  We have re-opened delegate registration on the website and encourage you to take advantage of this.

 

Will you be hosting the conference at the same venue?

Yes – we have been working closely with our amazing venue provider throughout, to ensure that the event remains located at The State Rooms, Boston – 60 State St 33rd floor, Boston, MA 02109, United States.

 

What about my speaking slot?
